Many of the families I work with have children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, sensory processing challenges, and other developmental or emotional needs. Traditional talk therapy isn’t always the best fit — and that’s where art therapy truly shines.
Through drawing, painting, sculpting, and imaginative play, kids can express what’s going on inside without having to find the right words. I often see children gain confidence, reduce meltdowns, and improve their ability to process emotions just by having a safe, creative space each week.
